Tips & Tricks for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
Apple has added many new features in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus along with iOS 10. Below are the some of the collective Tips & Tricks to use the new feature.
Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus has the feature to wake up display whenever device is lifted up to look at the screen. The Raise to Wake feature was added to take advantage of Apple’s new rich notification feature which allows users to view photos and videos or respond to messages directly from their Lock screen. It can be enabled or disabled by going to Settings > Display & Brightness > ‘Raise To Wake’ option.
Apple has recently added a nice option to open the camera directly from lock screen without unlocking the iPhone 7. This is really one of the best camera option added recently to take the picture very quickly. For opening the Camera, Lift the iPhone or press the Sleep/Wake button to see the Lock screen and Swipe left to open the Camera.
Home button is now more sensitive to the amount of pressure applied on it. Apple replaced the traditional Home button with static button having 3D Touch technology and taptic engine. The Home button available on Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is very different from the other iOS devices. It will detect the presence of your finger instead of moving inward. When you press the Home button you feel a slight click. You can choose between three clicks to provide different levels of clicks and it can be changed by navigating to Settings > General > Home Button option.
Apple has added the great anti-flicker feature which will counteract with flickering fluorescent light using new flicker sensor. It will automatically adjust the shutter speed to reduce the light effect while taking picture.
Apple has changed the hard reboot option of iPhone 7. Now, you have to press and hold the power and volume buttons at the same time to reboot the phone.
This feature is available only in iPhone 7 Plus, as it uses the twin lens from rear camera to create a depth effect. It will keep subject in focus and blur the background. This is also known as Bokeh effect. Here, one lens will take a close up of your picture and the other lens will capture the background which will be blurred by image processor. Output of this is really stunning.
Apple has finally introduced the long awaited feature to clear all notifications at once instead of tedious option of clearing notifications one by one. To do this you have to first invoke the Notification center by pulling it down from top of any Home Screen or swiping from right to left. There will be ‘X’ icon at the top of notification on right side. You have to press on the ‘X’ icon to get “Clear All Notifications” option. You have to click on this option to clear all notifications at once.
Apple has added ability to view lyrics in stock Music app. While listening to a song, tap or swipe up on the player at the bottom of the screen to open Now Playing option. To the right of Lyrics, tap on the Show option to view lyrics.
Apple has added new feature to set Bedtime Clock. Now, you can set your sleep time and waking time so that it will it will start reminding before going to bed in iphone 7 and iphone 7 Plus. It can be set by navigating to the Clock app and then by clicking on new “Bedtime” option. This will start the set-up process where you have to enter days you want to wake and set time to sleep reminder.
